Highlights of my Thanksgiving weekend:
-eating out at Timberlodge, forget turkey, I had a Juicy Lucy
-chatting with my mother-in-law
-my 3-year-old niece, “I want a hot dog, fries, and ketchup!”
-my mom’s homemade Thanksgiving dinner (she is a fabulous cook!, home-ec teacher!)
-playing Mystery Mansion with the girls and my brohter (3 years older than me) and not having the game end in tears, accusations and screams of “Winner puts it away, even though you cheated!” like 30 years ago
-catching up with my sister-in-law
-going to Play-it-Again sports and getting everyone set-up with skates and sticks
-playing hockey on the pond (we have enough family members to play 4 on 4, but really enjoy having Joey’s friend play to keep things going)
-thankful that we live in a country where we can go to church on Sunday’s
-sitting by the fire, reading a really good book
-snuggling on the couch with Cassie and Callie watching a funny movie
This is the stuff you post on Facebook.
Of cousre there’s all the other “stuff” that went on.
Lot’s of it.
But that’s for another post.
Hope your Thanksgiving had some good moments too!
